About
Dr Jasmine Kay Ching Tung
BVB, DVM Cert(ECC). A veterinary surgeon in Hong Kong, working across general practice and emergency care — with a particular interest in ophthalmology and chronic disease management.

Dr Jasmine Kay Ching Tung is a veterinary surgeon in Hong Kong. She earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Biology (BVB) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees from the University of Sydney.
After completing her studies, she returned to Hong Kong to practise as a primary care veterinarian at CityU Veterinary Medical Centre. Since 2024 she has served as a general and emergency veterinarian, where she looks after dogs and cats across routine and urgent cases.
Jasmine has a passion for many aspects of veterinary medicine, with a particular interest in ophthalmology and chronic disease management. She also has experience in animal behaviour medicine and participated in research on electroacupuncture during her university training. Her goal is to provide high-quality medical care to all patients, big and small, and to enhance their quality of life through effective communication and education for their owners.
To deepen her emergency and critical care practice, Jasmine earned her Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care accredited with the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS). Developed by a team of ECC specialists, it covers the latest diagnostic tools and up-to-date treatment guidelines in 2026.
Ophthalmology
Diagnosis and management of eye conditions — from corneal disease to glaucoma — where early intervention protects both comfort and vision.
Chronic disease management
Long-term care of conditions such as chronic kidney disease and endocrine disorders, where small adjustments made consistently over years matter more than any single intervention.
Emergency & critical care
Rapid triage and stabilisation of urgent cases. Jasmine holds the ISVPS-accredited Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, covering up-to-date diagnostic tools and treatment guidelines.
Animal behaviour medicine
Understanding how behaviour and stress shape health, and helping owners build manageable, low-stress routines for their pets at home.
